Sunday April 7 - Hackathon (9am-6pm)

Bring your laptop and learn, share, code and win. The following challenges have been defined:

• ANT+  - apps for the latest accessories
• Developer Garden - apps with services by the biggest German operator
• Netmera - apps with mobile backend (as a service)
• Ford - Ford will introduce you to SYNC® AppLink™ and bring their developer kit (TDK) make sure come with the SDK already registered and downloaded to the hackathon.

During that day there will be various devices available: Smart Goggles Epson, I'm Watch, APC Rock, ...

Monday April 8 - Barcamp and startup track ( 9am - 6pm )

Stage for everyone and we are adding the startup ecosystem to the droidcon !

Year after year the droidcon barcamp has grown. In 2009 we started with about 250 participants. Four years later we now expect roughly 700 people. This means the cosy and very interactive format of a barcamp needs some "tweaking" and has to evolve.

Therefore we going to trial a new structure for Monday, 8th April (the barcamp day).

• we are bringing up a new topic slot - the startup track
• we want to get "back to barcamp"
• in the evening have a professional jury judge on promising app submissions
