It's been two weeks since droidcon Berlin, so now it's time to have a look back. This year more than 900 attendees showed up, making the 8th edition of droidcon Berlin one of the most successful. We've enjoyed two eclectic days of conference with more than 65 international speakers on 4 parallel stages
Make a post or take a picture and upload it on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or Google+ with the hashtag #droidconDE and the Twitter handle of one of our media partners (@oreillyverlag, @rheinwerkverlag, @dpunkt_verlag, @BerlinValley and @enoughsoftware).
Our partner Voice Republic will audio-record all stages of droidcon Berlin 2016 and publish the talks online shortly after. Additionally we'll have video recording at our main stage during the conference.
Great News! Thanks to Hannes Dorfmann we now have an app for droidcon Berlin! You can download it in the Google Play Store now.
Next to our barcamp we offer a rapid demo session, workshops and an exciting Mobility Area on Wednesday, June 15. Learn more about our Interactive Android Day!
droidcon Berlin starts off with a barcamp on Wednesday (June 15, 2016). The barcamp is one of the interactive parts of the event, where you get the chance to actively shape the program. It's also perfect for very up-to-date topics that have emerged shortly before.
droidcon is not just about about the conference program, it’s the passionate and enthusiastic people that make the difference. That’s why droidcon Berlin won’t be just a conference: Apart from the sessions, the hackday and barcamp there is enough space and time for you to exchange ideas and experiences, meet new people and maybe find some new friends. So there are two events we would like to invite you to:
Always looking for being involved in the community our partner Badoo has just released their new open-source framework "Chateau" for adding (or improving) chat functionality in any Android app.
Our ticket partner Eventbrite recently met Stefan Hoth who is a member of the program committee of droidcon Berlin. They wanted to take a glance at the conference and find out how sessions are selected and if the future of Android looks bright.
